Sakura was officially announced two days before we arrived in Tokyo! I just can’t believe my luck! I’ve been so worried about missing out on the cherry blossoming, but the timing turned out to be perfect! We went straight to a park on Sunday for hanami (cherry blossom watch). A simple concept, a bunch of people having a merry picnic under the blossoming cherry trees.
