Last weekend I was at this party where I noticed a super cool elephant-bunny head costume lying on top of one of the wardrobes. I really wanted to get someone out on the street and take some photos of them wearing that amazing mask. So I asked the host if I could do it? He was really hesitant, so I let it go, because I didn’t want to be rude. Later on I noticed another guy gazing fixedly at the mask and suddenly he just took it down and tried it on. I approached him quickly and asked if he wanted to come out in the street, so I could take some photos of him with the elephant-bunny head on. He most certainly wanted to and did a marvelous job posing in all kinds of ways. He never asked anybody if he could put it on. I should try that more often. Asking for forgiveness instead of permission. I am now, actually.
