A week at my parents place is a quite interesting experience for me. I get completely sucked into their lives, stuff they need done and issues they have with the world. I try to hold on to myself, but after a couple of days my resistance is broken down and I’m all theirs. I really want to do things for them while I’m home, because I’m not here a lot and my parents are old and need my help with a lot of stuff. I love to help them, but after a week of being at their service I just long to be back in my own apartment and my own head space. I think I’m turning into one of those eccentric ladies who only likes to be by themselves. Geez.
